This Spinnaker race, run out of Larchmont, features a distance race up to 32nm long to Eatons Neck and back. Over 30 boats are registered including Four (4) 109’s including us. We might have our own class if a fifth 109 joins.

Reminder, the water is very cold, and will cool off the surrounding air.
*  Dress warm and in layers
*  Bring a morning snack
*  Bring a Thermos with your favorite hot liquid
*  If the return time is too late for you, we can drop off crew in Larchmont before returning to Huntington (1 hour drive from Huntington, if someone can pick you up or you uber to train)

DESCRIPTION OF RACE COURSE
For spinnaker classes, from the start, around Eatons Neck Point Lighted Gong Buoy G “11B”, thence to the finish, approximately 32 nm. Non-spinnaker classes will sail a shorter course of approximately 20 nm. A shorter course may be set for any class if the race committee decides conditions so indicate. Such courses will be described in the sailing instructions.
